The Cowboys are trying to reach 7-1 or better for the first time since 2007 and the 11th time in franchise history according to ESPN.com. They’ve made the playoffs each of the previous 19 times they’ve accomplished the feat and they’re well on their way to reaching the playoffs again thanks to rookie Dak Prescott. The quarterback has won six straight starts after losing to the Giants in the season opener.

The Browns, meanwhile, are headed in the complete opposite direction. They’ve lost 11 straight games and 18 of their past 19. The 11 straight losses matches a franchise high, which was also “accomplished” in 2011-12, and 1974-75. According to ESPN’s Football Power Index, the Browns have a 79.6% chance of finishing with the top pick in next year’s NFL draft.

OUR PREDICTION: The Cowboys have covered in six consecutive games but believe it or not, if you were to bet against Dallas this would be a good spot. The reason being is the Boys are coming off an overtime victory over the Eagles last Sunday night and are at Pittsburgh next Sunday in what should be a great showdown with the Steelers. Sandwiched in between is this game against the winless Browns, who are getting 7.5 points at home. The Browns probably aren’t going to pull off the upset today but they’ve been competitive all season despite their record. In what is shaping up as a potential letdown game for Dallas, Cleveland actually has some value at the window.
