MIA-PIT point spread keeps climbing
The point spread in today’s NFL Wildcard playoff matchup between the Dolphins and Steelers at 1:05PM ET continues to climb.
After opening as an 8.5-point favorite, the Steelers are now a 12.5-point home favorite against the Dolphins according to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI. The total has also moved, dropping slightly from 47.5 down to 46 points.

The point spread has shifted in a similar way in Las Vegas as well. The Steelers opened at -10 in Vegas, but has climbed to 12.5 at the Westgate Superbook, the MGM Mirage, William Hill and Wynn LV. The total at those Vegas sports books are all 46 as well.

The Dolphins are 4-1 against the spread in the last five meetings between these two teams, including in Week 6 when they upset the Steelers back in October of this year. Miami is also 4-1 against the spread in its last five road games, is 8-3 against the number in its last 11 games overall, but is just 1-4 against the spread in its last five road playoff games and 0-4 ATS in its last four playoff games overall.
On the other side, the Steelers are 5-1-1 against the spread in their last seven games overall, are 4-1-1 against the number in their last six conference games, and are 6-1 at the betting window in their last seven playoff home games. That said, they’re just 1-3-1 against the spread in their last five home games and 0-3-2 ATS in their last five playoff games.
