Raiders vs. Chargers Pick
Will it be a high-scoring game between the Raiders and Chargers on Sunday when the two AFC West rivals collide at 4:25PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Chargers are 3-point home underdogs versus the Raiders after opening as a 2.5-point dog earlier in the week. As for the total, the number hit the board at 49.5 after opening at 51.
The Raiders had their six-game losing streak by the same team that beat them before they won those six consecutive games. After beating the Raiders 26-10 in Oakland in mid-October, the Chiefs topped their AFC West rivals against last Thursday, 21-13. With that loss, the Raiders are now 10-3, fell to second place in the division, and are now the fifth-seed in the conference instead of owning one of the top two spots. After failing to cover as a 3.5-point underdog, the Raiders are also 8-5 against the spread in 2016.
The Chargers have now lost back-to-back games and three of four following their 28-16 loss to the Panthers in Charlotte last Sunday. San Diego has dropped to 5-8 and remain in the basement of the tough AFC West. The failed cover as a 1-point underdog also dropped the Chargers’ ATS record to 7-6.

OUR PREDICTION: Now that Derek Carr doesn’t have to worry about playing with a bad finger in cold Midwest weather, this should be a high-scoring game on Sunday. The over is 6-1 in the Raiders’ last seven games overall, is 4-1 in their last five games versus AFC opponents, and is 14-3 in their last 17 games after accumulating less than 150 yards passing in their previous game. The over is also 4-1-1 in the Chargers’ last six home games and is 4-1 in their last five divisional games.
