KC to find Maclin vs. OAK?
Can Jeremy Maclin lead the Kansas City Chiefs to a 10th-straight win today when they face the Oakland Raiders? See what oddsmakers expect from the receiver.
According to oddsmakers at MyBookie.ag, Kansas City is favored in today’s divisional game, as the Chiefs are getting odds of -7.5 points against the Raiders. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 43.5 points. These two meet today at 4:25PM ET on FOX.
The Chiefs (10-5, 8-7 ATS) are on a 9-game winning streak and have clinched a playoff spot, but can win the AFC West today with a win combined with a Broncos’ loss to the Chargers. Maclin has played a big role in this surge for Kansas City, as he has at least five receptions in each of his last five games with five touchdowns in that span as well. For the season, the 7-year NFL vet has 84 receptions for 1,034 yards and seven touchdowns. Those numbers are pretty impressive considering the Chiefs couldn’t find a WR in the end zone all of last season.
Today the Chiefs meet up with the Raiders (7-8, 7-8 ATS), who are looking to avoid another losing season. Oakland was one of the 9 wins for the Chiefs as the two met back on Dec. 6 with KC getting a 34-20 win on the road. Maclin had a big game in the win, getting 9 receptions for 95 yards with two scores. Oddsmakers see more of the same from Maclin today, as his over/under for receptions is set at 5.5 and his total for receiving yards is listed at 77.5. The Raiders have the 27th-ranked pass defense in the NFL, giving up 266 yards per game. Maclin has had five games this season with 78 yards or more and he has caught at least 6 passes in seven games.
