PATRIOTS KEY TRENDS: The Patriots have covered the spread in four straight games overall and are 8-1-1 at the betting window in their last 10 games after scoring more than 30 points in their previous game. They’ve also cashed in four of their last five games versus a team with a winning record and are 5-1 against the spread in their last six games after covering the spread in their previous game.

OUR PREDICTION: The Patriots have routed every opponent they’ve faced since Tom Brady returned from suspension in Week 5, so the point spread probably isn’t too high. That said, it feels high for a matchup of this magnitude. The Bills racked up 25 points against the Seahawks on Monday night in Seattle but Pete Carroll’s defense will receive a major boost from the return of safety Kam Chancellor, who is set to return from a four-game absence due to a groin injury. While communication breakdowns have led to big plays for opponents this season, the Hawks still have the components defensively to keep the Seahawks in the game tonight. Given how Seattle could win the game outright, the 7.5 points are nice to have in your back pocket tonight.
