LeGarrette Blount Prop Predictions

Will LeGarrette Blount play a key roll for the Eagles on Super Bowl Sunday or is the under a good bet for his prop bets?

According to oddsmakers from online sports book YouWager, the Patriots are currently 4.5-point favorites to knock off the Eagles in Super Bowl LII. New England opened as a 6-point favorite and is down to -4 at some online sportsbooks. The total, meanwhile, now sits at 48 points after hitting the board at 47.5.

As of Wednesday morning, 56% of betting tickets wagered at online sportsbooks are on the Eagles to cover the point spread. Bettors also see the game being relatively high-scoring, as 62% of betting tickets is on the over.

Bet Patriots vs. Eagles Super Bowl LII

LeGarrette Blount Total Rushing Yards: Under 26.5

Only once in his last five games did Blount rush over 26.5 yards and that came in Week 17 when the Eagles pulled many of their starters early in a meaningless game against the Cowboys. He rushed for just 19 yards against the Falcons in the Divisional Round and mustered only 21 yards two weeks ago against the Vikings in the NFC Championship.

LeGarrette Blount Total Rushing Attempts: Under 7.5

Based on his recent usage, the under should be a good play here, too. Granted, the Eagles will try to run at the New England defense because the Patriots have struggled defending the run this season. Still, if you look at Blount’s recent usage he has received eight or more carries only twice in his last five games. He finished with nine carries against Dallas in Week 17 and nine carries against Atlanta in the Divisional Round. In those other three games, Blount carried the ball seven, five and six times, respecitvely.

LeGarrette Blount Longest Rush from Scrimmage: Under 9.5

Blount had one run of 11 yards versus the Vikings in the NFC Championship Game but that was the only time in five games that he rushed for over 10 yards on a single carry. His other longs were seven (vs. Giants), six (vs. Raiders), nine (vs. Cowboys) and eight (vs.) Atlanta.
