Panthers & Pats remain favored in Vegas
Despite the majority of tickets being on the Patriots and Panthers, Las Vegas oddsmakers are holding steady with their lines for Championship Sunday.

After opening as a 4-point favorite at online sports book RealBet.eu (and a 3.5-point favorite in Vegas), the Patriots remain -3 to beat the Broncos in the AFC Championship Game Sunday at 3:00PM ET. The MGM Mirage, Westgate Superbook, and Wynn LV all list New England as a 3-point favorite. That number hasn’t changed the past two days.
In the NFC Championship Game, all three Vegas sports books also list the Panthers as a 3-point favorite over the Cardinals in the NFC Championship Game at 6:40PM ET. Carolina opened at -3 and that number has stayed steady both online and in Vegas.
There has been some movement on the totals for each game. The New England-Denver matchup opened at 44.5 and has been bet down to 44 at Westgate, but remains 44.5 at both the MGM Mirage and Wynn LV. Arizona-Carolina opened at 47.5 and has been bet up to 48 at Westgate, but remains 47.5 at MGM and Wynn LV.
Not surprisingly the betting public likes the two favorites to cover this weekend. Our NFL Public Betting page shows that 79% of tickets are on the Patriots -3 and 70% are on the Panthers to cover versus the Cardinals.
