Struggling with who to take in Week 9 of the NFL? Here’s a look at the top player picks in the Westgate Las Vegas SuperContest.
The top five picks for Week 9 in the 2016 Westgate Las Vegas SuperContest are the Broncos, Steelers, Saints, Panthers and Eagles. According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Broncos are a 1-point road underdog versus the Raiders on Sunday Night Football while the Steelers are a 1-point dog in Baltimore early on Sunday. The Saints are a 4.5-point road favorite at the 49ers while the Panthers are -3 at the Rams and the Eagles are +3 versus the Giants in East Rutherford.
Of course, it has been better to fade the top 5 this year, with an ATS record of 14-25-1. The top 5 is coming off a 3-2 week in Week 8, with the Patriots, Raiders and Saints all covering, and the Chargers and Falcons coming up short. That makes two straight weeks where the top 5 has finished with a winning record so perhaps the tide is turning.

“Redwine” is the current leader of the 2016 Westgate SuperContest with a record of 30-9 following an impressive 5-0 record last week. This week, “Redwine” picked the Chiefs (-7.5 vs. the Jaguars), the Eagles (+3 at the Giants), the Cowboys (-7.5 at the Browns), the Steelers (+1 at the Ravens) and the Broncos (+1 at the Raiders on Sunday Night Football).
“Ripsaw” dropped to second after spending a couple of weeks at the top of the leaderboard. “Ripsaw” currently has a record of 29-9-2 on the year and went 2-2-1 last week. “Ripsaw’s” picks for Week 9 are the Vikings (-6 vs. the Lions), the Giants (-3 versus the Eagles), the Browns (+7.5 vs. the Cowboys), the Jets (+4 at the Dolphins) and the Rams (+3 vs. the Panthers). With two picks that directly clash with “Redwine,” this could be a week where “Ripsaw” jumps back into first or falls further behind.
