Canadiens vs. Bruins Wednesday Pick
The total in Wednesday night’s matchup between the Canadiens and Bruins in Boston at 7:30 p.m. ET hit the board at 6 but has been bet down to 5.5. Is it wise to go with the line movement and take the under or has the value been sucked out of the line?

Montreal Canadiens Fantasy Spin
Carey Price allowed three goals on 33 shots in Monday’s 3-2 loss to the Arizona Coyotes. Price and the Habs had the perfect start, scoring twice in the opening 1:52 of the contest. Unfortunately for them, they couldn’t muster up any other offense as they gave up three straight to drop this one. Price will see his mini two-game winning streak come to an end. His record falls to 24-19-4 with a 2.70 goals-against-average and a .913 save percentage.
Boston Bruins Fantasy Spin
Tuukka Rask stopped 17 of 19 shots in a 3-1 loss to Detroit on Sunday afternoon. Rask was pressed into service on Sunday because Jaroslav Halak, who was scheduled to start, wasn’t feeling well. He played in Saturday’s afternoon win over Arizona. This is Rask’s second loss to the Red Wings this season. His record will drop to 20-5-6 on the year.
Our Prediction
Despite the line dropping from 6 to 5.5, I still see plenty of value in the under, which is a perfect 6-0 in the last six meetings between these two teams in Boston and has cashed in eight of the last 10 meetings between these two teams overall. The under is also 14-4-1 in the Habs’ last 19 games overall, is 4-1-1 in their last six games as an underdog and has hit in 12 of their last 14 games when playing on one day of rest. On the other side, the under is 6-2 in the Bruins’ last eight home games, is 18-7-3 in their last 28 games versus Eastern Conference foes and is 12-3-1 in their last 16 games when their opponent scored two goals or less in its previous game.
Wednesday NHL Prediction: Canadiens/Bruins UNDER 5.5
