The Flyers held the Panthers to a single goal on Monday night at home while scoring four goals themselves. Now Philly travels to New York to play the Islanders at 7:00 p.m. ET and given how the Flyers will be on no rest, will the over cash for bettors?

Philadelphia Flyers Fantasy Spin
Carter Hart allowed one goal on 31 shots in Monday’s 4-1 win over the Florida Panthers. It was Hart’s first game back after missing nine games due to an abdomen injury and the young goaltender did look a little antsy to start the contest, failing to track the puck well and giving up some big rebounds. Fortunately for the Flyers, things settled down for Hart from there, and he responded well in a solid home victory. Hart will see his record improve to 16-11-3 with a 2.56 goals-against-average and a .908 save percentage.
New York Islanders Fantasy Spin
Thomas Greiss allowed three goals on 28 shots in Monday’s 5-3 win over the Washington Capitals. Greiss wasn’t particularly sharp but he didn’t have to be in a contest where the Islanders led 2-0 and 5-1. The German netminder has now gone 5-0-2 in his last seven games, improving his record to 16-7-2 with a 2.55 goals-against-average and a .919 save percentage
Our Prediction
The over has been highly profitable in this matchup, cashing in 10 of the last 11 meetings overall and in four of the last give meetings at Barclays Center. The over is also a perfect 7-0 in the Flyers’ last seven games when they’re a road underdog, is 7-1 in their last eight road games overall and is 5-1 in their last six games when they’re an underdog of any kind. On the other side, the over is 4-1-1 in the Islanders’ last six games, is 4-0 in their last four home games and is 6-1 in their last seven games when listed as the favorite.
