Boston enters with a 16-10-4-1 record after a 7-2 home victory Monday over the Blue Jackets. Buffalo is 8-18-6-1 following a 5-4 home overtime loss to the Hurricanes on Friday night. The Sabres won the first meeting this season by a 5-4 score in overtime at Boston on Oct. 21. The Bruins won all four meetings last season and had won seven in a row over the Sabres before the game earlier this season. The under is 3-2 since the start of last season.

In the win over Columbus, seven different players scored a goal each. Jake DeBrusk and Danton Heinen led the way with a goal and two assists apiece. Boston led 3-0 through two periods and put it away with a big third period. Tuukka Rask registered 16 saves on 18 shots to pick up the win.

Jack Eichel recorded a hat trick for Buffalo and added an assist in the OT loss to Carolina. Jake McCabe notched a goal and added two assists. Evander Kane contributed three assists. Eichel tied the score at 4-4 with back-to-back goals midway through the third period before the Hurricanes won it in overtime. Chad Johnson allowed five goals on 34 shots to take the loss.

Boston is 7-1 in the last eight meetings and 6-0 in the last six meetings in Buffalo. The road team is 7-3 in the last 10 meetings.

Bet on Bruins vs. Sabres Pick

The Bruins have dominated the series until the OT loss in October, which they will want to get a bit of revenge for here. As evidenced by the dominant win over a good defensive team in Columbus, the Boston offense is clicking on all cylinders right now. While the Sabres have a couple very talented players in Eichel and Kane, the Bruins have a much deeper roster and better goaltending. Take the visitors here.
