Las Vegas opened as a -200 favorite before the moneyline dropped, while the total has also come down after opening at 6 goals. The Golden Knights are anywhere from a -170 to a -190 favorite at various books, while the total has come down to 5.5 everywhere.

As of Wednesday afternoon, 65 percent of public bets have come in on Las Vegas. Online wager info also says that 71 percent of bets are being placed on the over.
INJURY TO WATCH
Center Travis Zajac (upper body) is questionable today, while fellow center Pavel Zacha (upper body) is out. Left winger Marcus Johansson (brain injury) is out indefinitely. For the Golden Knights, right winger Reilly Smith (upper body) is questionable. Left winger James Neal (hand), center Oscar Lindberg (brain injury), defenseman Lucas Sbisa (undisclosed), goaltender Malcolm Subban (upper body) and left winger William Carrier (upper body) are all out indefinitely.
BETTING STRATEGY
Las Vegas has a slew of injuries and Smith being out would be a major blow to the offense. The Golden Knights still managed to win their last three contests on the road, but now return home where they have lost their last two games. Overall, Las Vegas has been outstanding at home with a 24-7-1-1 record. New Jersey has also been solid on the road with a 17-12-2-3 mark including a 3-2 shootout victory at the Predators its last contest. I’m going to bank on the Devils here to get revenge for a 3-2 victory by Las Vegas at New Jersey only 10 days ago.
