NHL Betting Trends
Washington
The Capitals are 4-1 in their last five games overall. Washington is 35-16 in its last 51 Friday games.
New York
The Islanders are 9-1 in their last 10 games playing on zero days of rest. New York is 5-1 in its last six home games.
Prediction:
New York has been awesome on zero rest days, but that is unsustainable over time. The Islanders put a lot of emotion and energy into last night’s win in the return of John Tavares as an opponent. Meanwhile, Washington rolled in its last game and had a couple days of rest to prepare for this one. Go with the visitors tonight.
