NHL Betting Trends
Washington
The Capitals are 4-1 in their last five games as a favorite. Washington is 4-1 in its last five road games.
Philadelphia
The Flyers are 4-1 in their last five versus the Eastern Conference. Philadelphia is 16-5 in its last 21 games overall.
Prediction:
Washington is on a roll, but Philadelphia has also played solid hockey as of late and has the home ice advantage. Look for a strong showing from the hosts to take down the reigning Stanley Cup champions, who have shown vulnerability and a lack of focus at times this season. Every bet carries some risk, but I think there is good value on the Flyers here.
